What the members say!Never mind the latest Diet - I have found that singing with the Harmonia Singers gives me a real 'workout'. However I feel before practice, singing with a group of people, many of whom have become friends, uplifts and de-stresses me. It's fun.....and then I go home and sleep well!
An extremely welcoming, fun choir, and Kirsty REALLY does mean it when she says you don't have to be a great singer to join, I'm certainly not...but still thoroughly enjoy myself!
Feel uplifted after every session!
Brilliant, great singing and great fun.
I joined the Harmonia Singers because I wanted to meet people locally, and because I'd enjoyed singing at school but hadn't sung since. I wasn't sure I'd stick at it, but now I look forward to it every week. Kirsty makes the music accessible to everyone, and the other women are so friendly and welcoming to newbies like me! We sing a diverse range of tunes, from simple Christmas songs to more challenging Benjamin Britten. I enjoy having the range because the simple ones are fun, and the sense of achievement after getting through a round of Britten is immense!

This choir is aimed at any adults who wish to join a singing group. No experience of choirs or music reading required (though sheet music will be provided). Open to all - no auditions, no pressure! Repertoire includes world music, Beatles, light jazz, Simon and Garfunkel, tv themes, Abba, west end shows, fun rounds and silly warmups.
