A chance for musicians to get together on their additional instruments!

The second GRO day promises to be just as much fun as the first! With conductor Steve Bingham (violinist and conductor extraordinaire, we will valiantly battle through some more of the fabulous BBC Ten Pieces arrangements.

Proposed Repertoire: Grieg Hall of Mountain King, Copland Hoe-down, Mozart Horn Concerto (no horn solo in this arrangement!). All pieces to be confirmed soon.

10.30am arrive and tea/coffee (provided)
11am - 12.30pm rehearsal 1
12.30-1.15pm lunch (bring packed lunch)
1.15-2.30 rehearsal 2
2.30pm tea break
2.45-4.15pm rehearsal 3
4.15pm concert set up and tea break
4.40pm informal performance to friends/family/hangers on

The day is open to GRO players (originally grade-one-a-thon participants), GRO players offspring (no other children allowed!), adult learners.
The music comes in 3 levels - beginner, grade 2-3ish and grade 4-5 ish. You will need to download the whole set of music for each piece from your welcome email, and print out the parts that you find most suitable. There will NOT be spare music copies on the day.
Please bring a music stand each.

PLEASE NOTE: online payment will stop on Saturday 13th October. If you turn up on the day then the fee is £15 CASH. You will also need to download your own music from the BBC site.
